The summer reading theme this year is “Color Our World” which gives us the opportunity to explore reading, literacy, and art. This year we will be working toward a community ice cream party. Stop by the library to pick up your challenge sheet. Color or cross of an ice cream cone for every day you read 15 minutes or more, and earn a treasure box prize (if you want!) for each 5 cones colored in. If you want to really embrace the “Color Our World” theme, ask the librarians about our list of books with the artistic themes, about artists, or how to make art.
