English & Spanish Language Instructor (Part-Time)
West Yellowstone Public Library
The Town of West Yellowstone is seeking applications for a part-time English & Spanish Language Instructor at the West Yellowstone Public Library.
This position will teach English and/or Spanish language classes using a selected curriculum (examples include Complete Spanish Step-by-Step and Aprender Inglés: 8 Libros en 1). The instructor will work approximately 4 hours per week, with the possibility of up to 8 hours per week depending on student enrollment and interest.
Pay: $29.29 per hour

Reports To: Library Director
Duties and Responsibilities
- Classes are expected to meet once per week, with additional weekly sessions offered based on enrollment, student demand, and instructor availability
- Teach from an approved language curriculum.
- Provide feedback and evaluate student progress through periodic assessments, quizzes, writing assignments, and other learning activities.
- Create opportunities for students to practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing in the language being learned.
- Communicate schedule changes promptly with the Library Director, library staff, and students.
- Foster a positive, interactive, and welcoming learning environment.
Qualifications
- Experience and/or education in language instruction.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and engage students of varying skill levels.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
